    Assessment

    Assessment is done as per CBSE guidelines based on CCE pattern. Both Scholastic and Co – Scholastic aspects are taken care of. In Scholastic Domain, Formative and Summative Assessments are done including Unit Tests/Periodic and Term Tests along with various techniques like Assignments, Quizzes, Competitions, Projects, Debates, Elocution, Group Discussions, Club Activities, Experiments and Research etc.

    We provide a very well equipped social science lab consisting of numerous charts, still and working models. Students of different grades are taken to the lab regularly where slides are shown with the help of overhead projector and learning is made easier and more interesting. Social science quizes, exhibitions and group discussions are held at regular intervals, which enable the students to learn while doing. Social science lab provides a platform for students to share their presentations.

    Scheme of Examination

    The system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation is followed from Class I to X. The academic year is divided into two terms. The pupil’s progress is assessed throughout the year through Formative Assessments (pen and paper tests, oral and group activities etc.) and at the end of each term through Summative Assessments. Students are graded on a nine-point scale and a minimum grade D is necessary to be declared ‘Pass’ in each subject.

    Please Note :

    1. Pupils are required to appear for all the examinations as scheduled. Students absent for an examination for any reason whatsoever will      not be re-examined. In case of absence due to illness, a doctor’s certificate will be required. Absence for any other reason will not be       condoned.
    2. If a student misses the final examination due to illness, promotion will be on the basis of performance during the year and at the        discretion of the Principal.
